About me

Therese

I’m a Scandinavian implant in London, where I work as a freelance knitting and crochet designer. I find inspiration in unexpected combination and often experiment with colours and textures to create wearable items. Knitting has many meanings to me, it’s a way for me to connect to my Scandinavian roots, as well as branching out and finding new friends and new techniques to explore.

I learned to knit from my grandmother when I was around 4-5 years old and knitted on and off through my childhood and teens. When I moved to London for my partner, knitting became a way for me to find friends and I soon found myself working for an online yarn company. In 2018 I took the step to become a freelance designer publishing my patterns both independently and through yarn companies.

My self-published patterns are available for purchase through Ravelry and Loveknitting and you can also find me on Instagram and Facebook.
